The Crazy things about Christmas....

After a day of non-stop eating and never ending sweets I have taken a moment to reflect the day we call Christmas. I do know one thing for sure..... I do not like Santa!! Yes you can call me a Grinch but I have endured the horrible uncomfortable act of sitting on this mans lap for years! (25 to be exact) Yes, every year my mothers family has a Christmas party and the jolly old man shows up in his goofy looking outfit. Every year I find myself sitting on this grown mans lap. The feeling of a grown mans sweaty bony knee on my rear end while his big hand drapes over my shoulder gives me a 25 year flash back every time. So many horrible memories of this strange man dressed up in a strange costume staring me in the eyes and asking me what I want for Christmas. All along I know that he is a hoax because how can this man get from our party to the rest of the world all in one night? Last night was particularly uncomfortable.... As Santa is getting ready to leave my father asks, "Kaylen and Sarah... don't you want a picture on Santa's lap?" My mind said,"HELL NO!" but all the came out was a confused stupid look. How could I say no to Santa?? Everyone would forever tag me to be the Grinch. So there I was with Sarah on Santa's right knee and I on his left... What other time of year will you find a grown man sitting on another grown mans knee while wearing a costume. I just hope my family never decides to do an EEaster party... that would be weird. I have plenty more crazy CChristmas things but I think this would suffice. I don't want to get into the shopping thing such as running over Wal-mart employees or going into consumer debt so this should work for this year and to clarify I am not a GGrinch, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!"

Noodles is our resource bird

Poor poor Noodles.... Having read a recent post of my greyforums.net I have come across a study that left footed parrots are similar to left brained humans. Noodles has been labeld a "creative" parrot. So what does creative left footed parrot do? Left footed birds have less than half of the tallking ability than the right footed parrots. I guess maybe Noodles will be considered a good dancer? Maybe she will become a world famous artist and lead Sarah and I into a comfy retirement. Okay, with all doubts aside she is still loads of fun even with the loads of poo she can leave on the floor. I will see if I can attach the hilarious video of what must be a left footed cockatoo doing her thing.
